How the Announcements Board Works
Browse: scroll the stream — urgent announcements pinned by editors render red with a pin icon and always sort to the top.
Filter: swipe or tap the category pills (Urgent, Operational Dispatch, Deployments, Training, General) to narrow the feed instantly.
Read: tap any card to open the full announcement, complete with author, timestamp, and external action links.
Compose: unlock editing, then press + Add Announcement or the floating + button to publish a new dispatch.
Manage: editors can Pin as urgent, edit, or delete any card from its action icons — multiple pins stay active at once; the bell badge tracks unread dispatches until you open this page.
